PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES ARE:
• Business Development
- Determine and translate customer needs (RFPs / RFIs)
into a solution and approach
- Deliver quality written presentations
- Provide scope, approach, and estimating input to the
proposal team

• Analysis and Solution Definition
- Elicit and document business requirements within
well-defined business processes
- Interface with customers to manage expectations and
resolve issues
- Analyze and document business requirements and
translate these to specification and design
- Assist in documentation of current and desired
business processes
- Execute assigned tasks within a structured project
environment
- Support and provide input to the technical design of
solution components
- Help coordinate activities between engineering team,
product management team, client, end user
organizations

• Project Execution
- Develop functional scenario based test scripts;
develop test data in support of User Acceptance
Testing
- Interface with development team to implement
solution
- Participate in knowledge transfer to customer
- Conduct training sessions and produce user
documentation

Director, IT

This role is for a 1000 Crore Indian engineering group, with the reputation of being one of the fast-growing Indian engineering companies.

As the director for Information Technology, this person would steer the group's growth by envisioning the role of IT and SAP-based support to the core engineering activities as well as the vendor management initiatives.

The person needs to have a strong engineering background and have a hands-on experience in IT strategy. Foresight into IT and emerging trends in IT would be one of the decisive factors. SAP experience would be considered a plus.

Salary comparable to the best in the industry.
